AWAKENING
“Stupid kids, they’ll never know,” a man in a white coat mumbled to himself. Huge grin on his face, he proceeded with his work, dumping the contents of a vial onto a clear tray. The tray was taken to an empty giant cage -- a cell -- which was made of shatter-proof glass, and set into a slot in the control panel. He made his way back to his control desks and after putting on a pair of high-protection sunglasses, pressed a red button.

The control panel on the cell squealed for a few seconds before the entire cell glowed with a bight light, filling the whole room. After a moment or two, the light cleared out. The man turned to face the cell and began laughing madly. There in the once empty cell, was a girl lying on the floor. She sat up, looking around frantically to try to figure out where she was. Even though her newly produced body had no clothing, her lock chestnut hair seemed to cover pretty much everything from the scientist to see.

The scientist. That’s when she remembered. ShinRa had taken her captive just a few days ago .. But what had they done with her clothes? Last she remembered, she had been sleeping in the cell -- which was almost prison-like -- they had given her the night prior. How did she get here? Perhaps they had been doing more tests.

Slowly, the door to her new cell opened, and she could hear the scientist laughing. He was walking over to her, a blanket in hand, mumbling to himself. “Finally, my dear Cetra. Finally.” He tossed the blanket at her and yanked her up by her arm. “I’ll finally be able to finish his work..”
